Space Availability - Fremont Main Library

The Early Childhood Rooms at Fremont Main Library are dedicated spaces for young children ages 0–6 and their caregivers and family to enjoy quality time together. Tutoring and similar activities are not allowed.

Limitations

  • Reservations must be made under the qualifying child's (ages 0-6) name and the email address of the parent or caregiver.
  • Rooms may be reserved for up to 1 hour per day and 3 hours per week. These limits apply to each child, caregiver, family, or group.
  • Reservations may be made at the desk or online up to 1 day in advance.
  • Room capacity is limited to 4 people.

Rules of Use

  • To check in and access the room, a parent or caregiver must bring the child listed on the reservation to the Children's Information Desk.
  • A child aged 0–6 must be present in the room.
  • A parent or caregiver must always stay with the child while using the room.
  • If you do not arrive within the first 15 minutes of your reservation, your reservation will be cancelled.
  • Keep all valuables with you. The Library is not responsible for items left unattended.
  • When your reservation ends, you are expected to leave the room promptly and in the same condition you found it. Cleaning supplies are available upon request.
  • If you do not follow Library policy or Early Childhood Room use guidelines, you may lose the ability to make future reservations.
