About the Memory Lab
The Memory Lab has two rooms.
- Scanning Room: Digitize photos, documents, books, slides, and negatives. Available tools:
- Flatbed Scanner: Scan documents, photos, slides, and negatives.
- Book Scanner:Scan books and other bound materials.
- Video Room: Digitize VHS tapes.
Know Before You Go
- Bring a USB Drive: Please, bring an empty USB drive to save your files.
- Real-time Processing: VHS digitizing happens in real time. A 1-hour tape takes about 1 hour to digitize.
- Allow Time to Save: Saving or sending your digitized video may take a few minutes. Be sure to leave enough time before your reservation ends.
